About the Artist

Courtney McClure is the artist behind Wanderlust Designs Jewelry. From an early age, she found joy in creating, particularly in the areas of fashion and jewelry. She was first introduced to beading when her grandmother, "Meme," who taught her how to create beadwork on a loom in her elementary school years. She went on to teach herself many types of freeform beading without the use of a loom. All of her beadwork is now created with just a single needle and thread.

In addition to beading, Courtney also enjoys creating unique jewelry with many other mediums and techniques, including wire wrapping, textiles, brass and copper, gemstones, feathers, and vintage tin. She loves to combine interesting colors and textures.
